Why study in Ireland
Six facts about the Irish system — externally sourced, not marketing claims.
Trinity College Dublin — top 100 globally
Trinity College Dublin ranks ~81st globally (QS 2025), making it one of Europe's most respected universities. UCD, UCC, and University of Galway also feature in global top 300.
2-year stay-back work permit
Every Irish Master's graduate gets a 2-year stay-back permission to work in Ireland after graduation. No employer sponsorship required. Irish Immigration and Naturalisation Service (INA).
English-speaking EU member state
Ireland is the only English-speaking country in the EU — giving graduates access to European job markets alongside Irish and multinational employers based in Dublin.
Tech multinationals headquartered in Dublin
Google, Meta, Apple, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Pfizer all have their European HQs in Ireland. Ireland's FDI inflow per capita is among the highest in the world (IDA Ireland, 2024).
September + January intakes
Two main intakes per year — apply 6–9 months ahead. September is the primary intake; January entry is available for select programmes at UCD, DCU, and TU Dublin.
Indian student numbers growing fast
Indian students are among the fastest-growing international cohorts in Ireland, with numbers rising 35% year-on-year (IUA — Irish Universities Association, 2024).

Your Irish Student Visa — what to expect
Four phases between offer letter and boarding the flight. Your TMC counsellor owns each one — no hand-offs.
Offer → Letter of Acceptance
After you accept your university offer and pay the deposit, the university issues a Letter of Acceptance. Typical timeline: 1–2 weeks. This is your primary visa document — not a CAS.
Financial documentation
You show approximately €10,000 for living costs (year 1), plus full first-year tuition fees, held in your account. No minimum consecutive days rule — Irish embassy assesses overall financial capacity.
AVATS online application + VFS biometrics
Apply via AVATS (Ireland's online visa system), pay the €60 visa fee, and submit biometrics at VFS Global India. We prepare your full file — SOP, financials, Letter of Acceptance, and cover letter.
Decision — typically 4–8 weeks
Irish student visa decisions typically take 4–8 weeks. On arrival, register with your local GNIB/IRP office within 90 days to get your IRP card (€300 fee). We brief you fully before you fly.

DCU was my dream. TMC shortlisted it for my profile, helped with the SOP, and the Letter of Acceptance came in 3 weeks. The 2-year stay-back means I can build my career here in Ireland.Priya S.
